Olivia Chewning serves as the Executive Director of the Union County Foundation, bringing a strong background in nonprofit stewardship, scholarship and grant management, and administration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Indiana University and is passionate about growing the Foundation’s endowment to enhance the quality of life in Union County. Her work focuses on expanding opportunities for the community through community development.
A proud wife to Joe and mom to four daughters—with a fifth baby on the way—Olivia stays busy attending her children’s sporting events year-round. She also enjoys antiquing, hiking, long walks, reading, and trips to the beach. Deeply connected to her community, Olivia is honored to serve in this role and is dedicated to making Union County an even better place for families to live and thrive.

Jackie joined the Union County Foundation in July, 2023. As the Program Officer, Jackie is the team member focusing on grants and scholarship processes. She works with grantees and fundholders with a mission to maximize the charitable impact. She brings a rich experience and background to this role! Jackie is married to Aaron Harvey with whom they are raising their family in our community.

Community Development Project Coordinator
Alison serves as the Community Development Project Coordinator at the Union County Foundation, leading efforts to drive local revitalization. With over 15 years of experience in sales and management, Alison brings a strategic mindset and strong leadership to community development. Passionate about fostering growth and meaningful impact, she is dedicated to building partnerships and creating a vibrant, thriving future for Union County.
As a longtime resident, Alison is proud to be raising her family in Union County with her husband, Tyler. They are committed to making their community a place where businesses, families, and future generations can flourish.

Union County Foundation Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for the oversight of all matters related to the Foundation: development, management, and grantmaking.

Aaron Welty is an IT Manager who focuses on improving processes and supporting teams to ensure smooth system operations. He and his spouse Katy have been together for many years and enjoy spending time with their family, especially attending their kids’ events and activities. A sports enthusiast, Aaron enjoys playing golf—despite not being the best at it—and is a devoted fan of IU basketball, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. He is actively involved in his community as a youth coach, a member of the Live in Liberty Committee, and a member of the College Corner Community Club. Having grown up in Union County, he values its strong sense of community and serves on the Union County Foundation Board as a way to give back and support future opportunities for the area.

Michael is an ERP Manager specializing in Technical Architecture at Avanade. He and his wife, Kayla, live in Union County with their two daughters, Emmy and Hazel. A passionate follower of college and international wrestling, Michael also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He is actively involved in the Lilly Endowment Committee, Personnel Committee, and Union Square Committee, contributing to initiatives that strengthen the community. Serving on the Union County Foundation Board allows him to give back to the place that has invested so much in him, helping to create opportunities and lasting impact for future generations.

Victoria L. Snyder retired after 32 years of service to the Union County College Corner Joint School District. She and her husband, Chuck, are proud parents of Christopher and Matthew and grandparents to Colton, Griffin, Gavin, and Landon. An active and adventurous person, Victoria enjoys golf, platform tennis, walking, reading, gardening, hunting, fishing, and machine quilting—anything but sitting still! She serves on the Union County Foundation Board and the Liberty Country Club Board and volunteers with Live in Liberty and Junior Achievement. She also participates in UC Serves, adult craft classes at the Union County Public Library, and the Books After Noon book club. Passionate about increasing opportunities and improving the community, she is dedicated to making a lasting impact in Union County.

Michael is a dedicated real estate appraiser and the proud owner of Sweet Appraisals, where he brings expertise and passion to his work. He and his wife, Rachel, have made their home in Union County, where they are raising their three children, Landon, Logan, and Ella. A firm believer in the value of community and connection, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring new places through travel, and sharing his love of sports by coaching youth teams. Deeply appreciative of the Union County Foundation’s positive impact, he is excited to contribute to its mission and help make Union County an even better place to live, work, and grow.
